Faced with a growing shortage of qualified personnel, the healthcare and welfare sector needed a way to capture the attention of younger generations. For Stichting ZWBT, traditional materials weren’t enough to convey the complexity and urgency of work in this vital field.

To meet this challenge, we developed an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) experience that puts young people in the shoes of healthcare professionals. From the fast-paced action of an emergency call center, to riding in an ambulance en route to a crisis, and even stepping into the high-pressure environment of an operating room, this VR experience provided an eye-opening journey into the world of care.

The Challenge

How do you engage and inspire young people to consider a career in healthcare? Stichting ZWBT needed a solution that:

Our Solution

We created an immersive VR experience designed to captivate and educate:

  • Real-Life Scenarios: Participants experienced emergency situations, from managing urgent calls in a dispatch center to performing life-saving actions in an operating room.
  • Interactive Storytelling: Each scenario allowed participants to step into the role of a healthcare worker, fostering empathy and understanding of the challenges they face.
  • Accessible and Portable: The VR setup was designed for events, making it easy to take to schools and recruitment fairs.
